Ginger Spice Smoothie

Ginger root is great to keep around if you’re trying to detox, and it definitely wakes up the taste buds with a kick that can be quite refreshing. Combining it with cinnamon gives it additional anti-inflammatory benefits, and really turns up the spiciness of this smoothie.

What You Need

1 nub Peeled Ginger Root

1 tsp Cinnamon

1 handful Spinach

1 tsp honey (optional)

1 cup Purified Water

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender.  The more you mince the ginger before adding it in, the less bits you’ll have to crunch on once it’s all blended up.
