I stay active every day with some form of movement. It could be light stretching or going for a walk. I keep a steady schedule of receiving bodywork and massage. I stay hydrated, rested, and maintain healthy balanced eating habits.
Every single class I’ve taken at Irene’s has been wonderful, packed full of great information. I’ve taken hot rocks, infant massage, myofascial release, and trigger points, just to name a few of my favorites.

So many favorite memories! I just loved walking into Irene’s. I felt at home. I love bodywork and helping people through their healing journey and I have Irene’s to thank for that. The best decision I could have ever made in myself was going to Irene’s and meeting all the lovely people I’ve got to meet along the way.
What do you do for self-care to provide longevity for your massage career? I soak in Epson salt several times a week. I douse myself with essential oils to continue my healing; I use peppermint, lavender, clove, rosemary, and eucalyptus the most. I practice yoga and deep breathing daily. I also have a massage chair at home so I work on myself a lot. I eat right; I do not eat sweets or sugar and no dairy.
